Platform Not Loading or Displaying Incorrectly

Quick fixes if the Be Certified platform is not working as expected

If the Be Certified platform is not loading, is displaying incorrectly, or features are not responding, try the steps below. Most issues are resolved within the first two steps.

Step 1: Refresh and Check Your Connection

1. Close the browser tab and reopen app.becertified.com.

2. Check that your internet connection is working — try loading another website to confirm.

3. If you are on a company network, check with your IT team whether any firewall restrictions might be blocking app.becertified.com.

Step 2: Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

Outdated cached data can cause display issues. Clearing your browser cache and cookies forces the platform to load fresh data.

Google Chrome: Click the three dots menu (top-right) → Settings → Privacy and security → Delete browsing data. Select "Cookies" and "Cached images and files", then click Delete data.

Microsoft Edge: Click the three dots menu → Settings → Privacy, search, and services → Choose what to clear. Select the same options and clear.

Safari: Go to Safari → Settings → Privacy → Manage Website Data → Remove All.

Firefox: Click the menu button → Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data → Clear Data.

After clearing, close and reopen your browser completely, then log back in at app.becertified.com.

Step 3: Try a Different Browser

Be Certified works best on the latest versions of Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Safari, and Firefox. If you are having trouble in one browser, try switching to another to see if the issue persists.

If the platform works in a different browser, the issue is likely caused by a browser extension or setting in your original browser.

Tip: Browser extensions like ad blockers can sometimes interfere with the platform. Try disabling them temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

Step 4: Check for Known Issues

On rare occasions, there may be scheduled maintenance or a temporary service disruption. If none of the steps above resolve your issue, the platform may be undergoing maintenance. Please try again in a few minutes.
